Food Allergy Certified
A childcare teacher greeting a smiling boy wearing a backpack

The standard of
care for children
with food allergies.

Food Allergy Certified helps childcare
centers become the place food allergy
families trust, choose, and never leave.

The only food allergy certification
designed for childcare centers.

I’m a parent, keep me posted
1 in 13 children has a food allergy. That’s about 2 kids in every classroom.

The Problem

Parents of
children with
food allergies are
not just picking a
childcare center.

Worried food allergy character

They’re deciding who they
trust with their child’s life.

And when they visit your center, they’re looking for a signal. Something that tells them your staff is trained, prepared, and ready before an incident ever happens.

Most centers can’t give them that signal.

No certification. No badge. No visible proof.

That gap costs you enrollments. And in a worst-case scenario, it costs you much more.

The Solution

We built the standard. Now your center can meet it.

Happy food allergy character

Built by a parent of a child with food allergies, in collaboration with pediatric allergists, emergency medicine doctors, and early childhood educators.

Food Allergy Certified is a 90-minute certification program designed for childcare centers, daycares, and early education providers nationwide. Training incorporates evidence-based protocols, emergency response training, and practical implementation guides.

Your staff gets trained. Your center gets certified. And parents see it the moment they walk through your door.

This is not just a training program. It’s a parent trust system and the most visible competitive advantage your center can have.

How It Works

Simple to implement. Powerful to show.

Built by a parent. Backed by experts.

  1. Step 1

Enroll your center online in just minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Train Your Staff

Short, scenario-based modules your whole team completes in about 90 minutes. Fully online.

  3. Step 3

    Get Certified

Your center receives official FAC Certified status, your badge, your window decal, and your Parent Trust Kit. You’re now the center allergy families are looking for.

Amber’s Story

Built by a mom who needed it to exist

When my son Xion was four months old, I put a little mango milkshake on his lips. I knew it had milk in it. I just never imagined he could be allergic to milk. Within minutes, rashes were spreading across his face and his eyes were starting to swell. We rushed to the ER.

That was the day I learned the word anaphylaxis.

I built Food Allergy Certified because I couldn’t find a childcare center I trusted enough for Xion. The more centers I visited, the more I kept seeing the same thing. Parents who knew everything about their child’s allergies, and staff who had never been trained on any of it. That gap needed to be filled. I wanted to make lemonade out of lemons.
